This article describes how to install Nexus Personal Desktop Client on different platforms.
- On Windows, Personal Desktop Client is delivered as an MSI (Microsoft installer file). It contains all the necessary application and configuration files. For more information see Install Personal Desktop Client on Windows.
- On macOS, Personal Desktop Client is delivered as a DMG installer. When the user starts Personal Desktop Client for the first time, an installation of the different components takes place. For more information see Install Personal Desktop Client on macOS.
- On Linux, Personal Desktop Client is delivered as a Debian package for Ubuntu distributions and as an RPM package for Red Hat/CentOS distributions.
