| Hybrid Access Gateway is a complete network of services, with the administration service as the natural connecting point, or hub. The administrator manages all administration and configuration of Hybrid Access Gateway on the administration service through the Hybrid Access Gateway administration interface. |
The administration service distributes your User accounts in Digital Access settings to the User storage in Digital Access and configuration changes to the Hybrid Access Gateway network: the access point, policy service, distribution service, and authentication service. You can only configure one administration service server per Hybrid Access Gateway network.
When initially setting up Hybrid Access Gateway through the Setup system wizard, the administration service by default listens to host 127.0.0.1 and port 8300 for communication within the Hybrid Access Gateway network. These default values can be changed.
The administration service must be set up with:
- Internal communication, that is, the communication between the administration service and the Hybrid Access Gateway network.
- External communication, that is, the communication between the administration clients and the administration service.

- In the Hybrid Access Gateway administration interface, go to Manage System.
- Click Administration Service.
- In the Internal Host input field, enter IP address or DNS name of the host for internal traffic in the Hybrid Access Gateway network.
- In the Internal Communication Port input field, enter the port for internal traffic in the Hybrid Access Gateway network.

- In the the HTTP Host and HTTP Port input fields, enter IP address or DNS name and port number of the host for HTTP traffic.
- In the the HTTPS Host and HTTPS Port input fields, enter IP address or DNS name and port number of the host for HTTPS traffic.
- In the Server Ceritificate input field, enter the server certificate the administration service uses in HTTPS communication.
