This article describes how a Workplace asset administrator assigns a certificate profile to assets in the "pending" state in the Workplace package in Smart ID Identity Manager.

Assets get the "pending" state if the certificate profile that was provided in the .csv file for importing them could not be found in Identity Manager Operator. For more information, see Import assets. |

- In Identity Manager Operator, go to the Search page and select Workplace asset from the drop-down list.
- Click Search and select a pending asset.
- Click Assign certificate profile.
- Select Certificate profile and select the certificate profile you want to assign to the asset. The profile name and enrollment protocol are added into the fields.
- Click Next to proceed with the process or Cancel to close the process.
