These video clips show how easy it can be to log in to Office 365 with Smart ID Mobile App online authentication (push), by using the Nexus Smart ID solution Digital access.
For more information on how to set this up, see Set up access to Office 365. The access is set up in the authentication platform Smart ID Digital Access component.
Web application and Smart ID Mobile App on different devices
In this video, both login with push and login with OTP (starting at 1:08 in the video) to Smart ID Mobile App are shown. For OTP, see also Log in to Office 365 with Smart ID Mobile App OTP.
As shown in the video, different content can be shown in the application portal, depending on how strong the authentication is.
Log in with Personal Mobile Push
- On the web application login screen, select login method, in this case Personal Mobile Push. (Personal Mobile has been renamed to Smart ID Mobile App)
- Enter your User Name and click Sign in.
An image is displayed. - Open Smart ID Mobile App on the mobile device. Verify that the same image is shown, by clicking Accept.
- Use Touch ID or enter your PIN code to identify yourself.
On iPhone X, you can optionally use Face ID. - Go back to the web application.
The application portal is displayed, with links to all your applications. - Click Office 365 and then select an application, for example Outlook.
Any application in the portal can be opened without having to log in again, using single sign-on.

An image is displayed. Also, you get a push notification marked Authentication request. - Click the push notification to open the request in Smart ID Mobile App.
- Verify that the same image is shown, by clicking Accept.
- Use Touch ID or enter your PIN code to identify yourself.
On iPhone X, you can optionally use Face ID. - Go back to the web application window.
The application portal is shown, with links to all your applications. - Click Office 365 and then select an application, for example Outlook.
