Register person
This article describes how to register a person in Nexus GO PKI Cards.
Before employees or external users can get PKI cards, they must be registered. Produced cards will contain the personal data fields that have been specified in the card layout template together with Nexus.

Register person
- Log in to PKI Card Management service.
- On the START tab:
- For an employee:
- Under Quick Search, select Employee.
- Under What do you want to do?, click Create Employee.
- For an external user:
- Under Quick Search, select External.
- Under What do you want to do?, click Create External.
- For an employee:
- Enter personal data. Here are a few hints on some specific fields:
- In Personal Id: Enter a unique identifier for searching, such as an employee number or a personal identity number.
- In E-Mail: Enter a unique email address.
- In UPN: Enter the user principal name (UPN) as specified in the Active Directory. At Windows login, this will be used to match the person in the AD and in the card management system.
- Photo: It is not mandatory to upload a photo, but it is a prerequisite for a photo to be printed on the card. The following options are available:
- If Nexus Card SDK is installed on the local computer, click the Camera icon to upload and enhance a photo via Card SDK.
- Click the Paper clip icon to upload a photo without enhancements.
The content of the CN (common name) field is generated by First Name + Last Name.
- Click Next. The person is now registered and in state Active.
