Download the zip file containingnexus-timestamp-installer.jarinto any desired directory.
Decide directory for Nexus Timestamp Server
Decide a directory in which Nexus Timestamp Server will be installed, for example, C:\Program Files\Nexus\Timestamp Server. This directory will be referred to as <install> and shall be the one used in the installation procedure.
Start installation
Double-click on the installation file, nexus-timestamp-installer.jar. If you get an error about using the wrong java version, it might be that you have several java versions installed. Try doing the installation from a console instead.
You can also to initiate a console installation with the command java -jar nexus-timestamp-installer.jar -console from an administrator command prompt.
Follow the instructions during the installation.
It is recommended to install the sample configuration and modify it.
Nexus Timestamp Server will now be installed as a Windows service. Logs and configuration are installed in C:\ProgramData\Nexus\timestamp-server(referred to as <var> in the documentation), <conf> refer to C:\ProgramData\Nexus\timestamp-server/conf.
Copy the license file
Copy the license file that you have received from Nexusto <conf>/license>.
Start the service
Start the timestamp-server service from the Windows Service Manager.
