Description
SDK-225
Making DESFire derivation algorithms configurable
In previous Card SDK releases, the supported derivation algorithms have been implemented in a very static and specific context in the software. With Card SDK 5.9 we are introducing the possibility to configure the supported key derivation algorithms in a more flexible and generic way in the Encoding Description files (DSC).
SDK-410
Improved JPKIEncoder download
When using the JPKIEncoder of Smart ID Identity Manager in Card SDK, old files did not get cleaned up automatically, when Identity Manager got updated. This has been improved now - Card SDK automatically removes obsolete files before downloading the new ones.
SDK-446
Update DESFire cards with activated Random ID
With this release of Card SDK it is possible to update/re-encode Mifare DESFire EV1/EV2 cards with derived keys that have "Random" ID" activated. Previously Random ID with derived keys could only be used during initial encoding on empty cards.
SDK-475
Supporting TLS 1.3
The web service framework in Card SDK has been updated in order to support TLS 1.3 in the IDProductionService.
SDK-487
Introducing Elatec TWN4 RFID encoder
With this release, Card SDK supports the Elatec TWN4 multi-technology RFID encoder. Via the TWN4 Card SDK can now encode the following technologies:
With Card SDK 5.9, support for the Magicard 600 direct-to-card printer is added. Frontside/ backside printing but also RFID and crypto chip encoding via the two different encoding positions in the printer is supported.
Writing with a preceding reading of fixed data with leading zeros in BCD format to a Legic chip didn't succeed. This has been fixed now.
SDK-477
Changed a log level from INFO to ERROR when a problem occurs while moving a card to the next encoding position.
