The Expiry Check Service (ECS) within Smart ID Certificate Manager allows the user to define actions to be taken when one or more certificates on a token is about to expire. This feature can also be used to detect system certificates about to expire, to renew or unpublish these certificates and to send reminders to an administrator.

- To start ECS, insert the following line in cm.conf:
Ecs.start = true
