Encoding descriptions contain all definitions for the encoding of a smartcard. For example, initializing the chip, creating key pairs or writing certificates.
The encoding description is used by the credential management application (Nexus PRIME) in conjunction with other applications like Nexus Card SDK and Nexus Personal Desktop App.
The articles that are gathered here describe the structure, content, and how to set up such an encoding description.
Most of the information is specific to PKI cards. Together with Nexus Card SDK you can also encode various types of RFID cards in PRIME Explorer.
