This article describes how you as an operator locks an active virtual smart card for a user in Smart ID Identity Manager.

Prerequisites

 Prerequisites
  • The virtual smart card must be in state "active"

Step-by-step instruction for the operator

 Log in to Identity Manager Operator
  1. Log in to Identity Manager Operator with your user account.
 Lock virtual smart card for a user
  1. In the Quick search drop down list, select User. Search for user that you shall lock a virtual smart card for.
  2. Click Lock virtual smart card.

    To cancel the process, see "Cancel the process" below.

  3. Click Next and the virtual smart card is locked.
 Cancel the process

To cancel the process:

  • Click Cancel to close the process.
  • Click Next to proceed with the process.
