This article describes how an operator aborts a card order for external production in Smart ID Identity Manager. Read more here: Smart ID Workforce use cases.
You can only abort a card order for external production when the card is in state "processing". The card is in state "processing"when it is queued.
This use case is disabled by default.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites
The card must be in state "processing".
Enable the Abort card order (external production) use case
Log in to Identity Manager Admin with your admin user.
Go toHome > Cards > Card.
Select theProcessing tab.
InAdditional Commands, clickNew(the pen symbol) to add a row.
InAdditional Commands, selectAbort card orderto add it to theProcesslist.
ClickSave.
Step-by-step instruction for the operator
Log in to Identity Manager Operator
Log in to Identity Manager Operator with your user account.
Abort card order
In the SEARCH tab, select Card in the drop-down list.
Select stateProcessingin theStatusdrop-down list, and clickSearch. A list of cards with state processing appears.
Select the card you want to abort and clickAbort card order.
To cancel the process, see "Cancel the process" below.
Click Next to finish. The card will now be in state aborted.

Click Next to proceed with the process.
