This article describes how to set up a template in Nexus PRIME for capturing of binary data.

The format of binary data can be stored as a template so that such binary data can be captured by Nexus PRIME Capture Client during a process and forwarded to the Nexus PRIME server for processing or saving. Binary data must be set up as data formats to be used in binary fields in the data pools.

Typical examples include the recording of fingerprints, photographs, handwritten signatures and document scans. Nexus PRIME Capture Client connects with the device on the client side that is pre-configured for recording this type of binary data.
