This article describes how to set up NFC card authentication in Digital access together with the Smart ID mobile app.

Prerequisites

Log in to Digital Access Admin with an administrator account.
Deployed Digital Access, see Deploy Digital Access component
Only for Smart ID Mobile App: There is an SMS or email gateway available for sending notifications.
The access point must be protected by a public certificate, see Add certificates in Digital Access. When deploying a server certificate, its certificate chain up to the root shall also be added in CA certificates.
Smart ID Messaging must be installed on-premises or consumed as a service. See the following links:

Smart ID Messaging must be connected to Digital Access, see Set up Personal Messaging in Hybrid Access Gateway.

Configuration in authentication method

Configuration in the Personal mobile authentication method:

Create a "Personal mobile" authentication method by following the steps mentioned in Set up Smart ID authentication.
In the authentication method, select Authentication using QR code. Enter the protocol - "com.nexusgroup.smartid.nfc" for NFC card authentication to work with the Smart ID Mobile App.
