IAS-ECC with Cosmo V7 and Cosmo V8.2

Support has been added for the IAS-ECC profile on Cosmo V7 and Cosmo V8.2 cards.

Authenticated session for Random Module in PPA

ID2PPA can now authenticate session with Random Module library if the PIN is set in the PPA configuration file.

PER-4299

Incorrect PKCS#11 mechanisms advertised

PKCS#11 module advertised incorrect support of PSS modes which failed when actually used. List of supported mechanisms is now correct and advertised PSS modes work.

PER-4306

ID2PPA crash on bad generator configuration

ID2PPA crash when the random generator module is missing or wrong has been fixed.

Limitations

Support for the new Cosmo V7 and Cosmo V8.2 cards on macOS is limited to PKCS#11.
The browse dialog for soft token import does not work on macOS Catalina. Instead, manually enter the full path to the soft token and click Import. For more information, see Personal Desktop Client user's guide.
Windows 7 is supported only under extended contract. Contact Nexus for further information.
