This article describes how to protect the Smart ID Digital Access component (Hybrid Access Gateway) administration web interface with two-factor authentication (2FA).

Prerequisites

 Prerequisites
  • A user group with access to the web resource (the Hybrid Access Gateway administration web interface) must exist, see Add user group in Digital Access.
  • The administrators that shall have access to the Hybrid Access Gateway administration web interface have been added to the user group. For information, see Add user account in Digital Access.

Step-by-step instruction

 Log in to Hybrid Access Gateway administration interface
  1. Log in to the Hybrid Access Gateway administration interface with your admin user.
 Create 2FA access rule
 Add standard web resource for Hybrid Access Gateway Admin web resource
  1. In the Hybrid Access Gateway administration interface, go to Manage Resource Access.
  2. Click Standard Resources.
  3. Expand Hybrid Access Gateway Resources.
  4. Click Secure Remote Access to Administration Interface.
  5. Click Add this Standard Resource.
  6. Enter values in the form, click the ?-sign for more help.

    Example: Values for standard web resource

    Display Name: HAG Admin

    Description: Administrator's interface for Hybrid Access Gateway

    Host: 10.75.112.20

    HTTP port: 80

  7. Click Next.
