This article describes how an operator resets a password for multiple users in Smart ID Identity Manager. Read more here: Smart ID Workforce use cases

When the password is reset, information is sent to the users.

Prerequisites

 Prerequisites
  • The users can be in state "active" or "inactive"

Step-by-step instruction for the operator

 Log in to Identity Manager Operator
  1. Log in to Identity Manager Operator with your user account.
 Reset password
  1. In the BATCH ORDERS page select Batch order reset password.

  2. Click Search to get a list of all users.

  3. Select the check boxes for the users that shall have their password reset. 

    To cancel the process, see "Cancel the process" below.

  4. Click Reset passwords.
  5. Click Next and the password is sent by email to the users.
    The password is rendered by the system.

 Cancel the process

To cancel the process:

  • Click Cancel to close the process.
  • Click Next to proceed with the process.
