Lock virtual smart cards

This use case describes how to lock the virtual smart card in the Identity Manager and revoke the certificates, so that the VSC can not be used.

Virtual smart card user

In Smart ID Self-Service: Clicks the Credentials tab, selects the virtual smartcard and then Lock.

Registration officer starts the process in Identity Manager.

Identity Manager

Displays information on the following steps in the process, such as revoking certificates.

If the virtual smart card has a valid encryption certificate, a check box is shown, where the virtual smart card user can select, if the encryption certificate should be revoked or not.

Locks the virtual smart card and related certificates.
