To import, consult your system integrator or the software manufacturer so that they can create suitable encoding descriptions.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the encoding description template, make sure that the following things apply:

• Install Identity Manager

• Available data pool to refer to

• Available encoding description files in .dsz format

Add encoding description template

1. In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Encodings.

2. To add a new encoding description template:

   1. Click +New.

   2. click Upload and browse to the encoding description file in .dsz format. Enter a Name and a Description (optionally).

   3. Click Save+Edit.
      The Encoding panel is shown.

3. To edit an existing encoding description template, double-click on its name.

The rest of the procedure for editing the encoding description is identical to the procedure described in Set up card template in Identity Manager.
