Capture image

Capturing is done using a dialog in wizard style. The user calls this dialog from an integrator's application and the captured image is returned after finishing the capture process. Independent of the capturing device (live image camera, scanner, ...), the dialog offers a very similar user interface and returns the captured image with a minimum amount of clicks. The configuration of available devices and image processing settings is completely done within the Configuration Manager.

Beyond this functionality, the dialog supports the use of plug-ins. They extend the functionality by image processing or image check modules. Nexus offers an own add-on to ensure capturing of ICAO compliant images. An integrator may also implement own image check/image processing modules.
