Add alerts in Digital Access

This article describes how alerts can be added and defined for daily monitoring of Smart ID Digital Access component.

 Prerequisites

A notification channel has been set up, see Set up email or sms notification channel in Digital Access.

Step-by-step instruction

 Log in to Digital Access Admin
  1. Log in to Digital Access Admin with an administrator account.
 Define alerts
  1. In Digital Access Admin, go to Monitor System.
  2. Click Alerts > Manage Global Alert Settings...
  3. There are a number of alert templates defined in the system. They can be used as is or they can be tailored. Click Save when done.
  4. Click Add Alert.
  5. Specify a Display Name, a Description and what channel to use, email and/or sms and click Next.

    Example: Add alert for user lockout

    Display Name: Locked User Alert

    Description: Send sms when user has been locked.

    Notification channel: Check SMS

  6. Select the events that shall trigger the alert, for example, locked access.

  7. Specify the receivers of the alert notification. The mobile number will be picked from the directory. You may also add a phone number manually.

  8. Click Finish and Publish.
