Configure Certificate Controller in Certificate Manager

This article describes how to configure the Certificate Controller (CC) in Certificate Manager, one of the clients used within Smart ID Certificate Manager (CM).

The configuration of the CC is controlled by a set of configuration files located in the <configuration_root>/config directory.

client.conf
The main configuration file contains parameters related to search attribute headings..
launch.ini
Launching options, including the possibility to suppress the display of revocation reasons, are set here. See Launch Certificate Manager clients for more information.
countries.conf
Contains country code and country name of all countries that should be selectable from the Country drop-down list in the application window. Add and delete entries in this file to customize your installation.

The following file is user-specific and must not be edited. It will be created automatically if it is deleted. It is stored in <userprofile>/CertificateManager/config.

ccprofile.conf
This file contains the current settings for the CC window. It is dynamically updated with the current attributes when the CC is closed. Do not edit!

Nexus PKCS11 has its own configuration file named Personal.cfg. Normally, the settings in this file are created automatically during the installation.
